Taxes

Taxes apply only to purchases shipped to Canada: GST and QST in Quebec, and GST only for the other provinces.
For other countries, taxes and customs duties are likely to be claimed under the law in force in the country of destination, but are not the responsibility of Rarexoticseeds.

Payment

Payment is accepted via VISA, MASTERCARD or AMERICAN EXPRESS through the secure, simple and fast Paypal Payment system or on our secured page via Authorize.net. A Paypal account is not required to pay .

Shipping

We ship worldwide. All orders are normally shipped by Canada Post. Every order shipped is considered delivered. Rarexoticseeds cannot be held responsible for non receipt of order, except in cases of obvious error on our part.
Registered mail is available for smaller orders. For larger orders, please contact us. Delivery confirmation for larger orders is a $50 minimum.

Shipping costs

Shipping costs are calculated by estimating weight and destination of the order, and getting as close as possible to the actual cost. It is possible to view an estimate of shipping charges by visiting the Shopping Cart page on our website.

Delivery

The deadline for preparation of the order is usually less than one week. Please allow for preparation time and the following delivery ranges before expecting your order to arrive:

• Canada: 2 to 8 days
• USA: about 1 to 2 weeks
• Other countries: about 1 to 3 weeks

Phytosanitary Certificate

Depending on the species ordered and the regulations in force in the country of destination, it is possible that a phytosanitary certificate and/or import permit is required (see FAQ). A purchase of this certificate is available at checkout at a cost of $18. Please note that this process requires an inspection from the Canadian Food Inspection Agency and will prolong the time of delivery.
In the event that an ordered request should prove unnecessary, a portion of the cost of the certificate will be refunded in part, a sum of $8. The remainder will have been used for the costs that were necessary to apply to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency for inspection.
If an order is returned following a refusal of the customs service, the customer may be reimbursed the price paid for the order, minus the cost of shipping, a $5 flat fee and a $0.50 per bag restocking fee. So, please learn about the laws in force in your country before requesting a certificate.

Availability

We do our best to update our site and keep in stock the largest number of products. If a product were to become unavailable between the time of order placement and preparation, the cost will simply be refunded.

Warranty

Though we do provide seed germination guidelines on our web site, successful seed germination depends on a number of factors. It is for that reason that we are unable to offer a guarantee. Our best evidence of our company’s quality is demonstrated by the loyalty and satisfaction of our customers and the success of our site.
