Le Cornus Florida Rubra est également appelé cornouiller de Floride ou simplement cornus et appartient à la famille de Cornaceae. Indigène du Missouri, il se développe en Amérique du Nord orientale, mais est rarement vu dans la nature.

| Germination | Soak the seeds in water for 24hrs. Sow the Cornus Florida Rubra seeds on the surface of a well drained seed sowing mix at about 12øC. Cornus Florida Rubra seeds will usually germinate in 90-730 days, but even under good conditions germination may be erratic. Germination can take a long time. Be patient! Alternatively you can cold stratify the seeds for 120 days and plant them outside next spring, making sure to protect the seeds with a screen, or the rodents could eat them. You could also sow the seeds directly outside in the fall. |
