Schizobasis intricata
Schizobasis intricata est un bulbe africain d'une très grande étendue que l'on trouve en Éthiopie, au Zimbabwe, en Zambie, au Mozambique, en Angola, en Tanzanie, en Namibie et en République d'Afrique du Sud. C'est une étrange plante géophyte bulbeuse avec un choc épais de tiges filamenteuses, étroitement ramifiées, de 10 à 50 cm de hauteur, qui a repris la fonction de la photosynthèse des feuilles.
Il aime les sols organiques bien drainés (par exemple, utilisez un mélange pour cactus + terreau ordinaire).
