Echinacea angustifolia est connue dans le renforcement du système immunitaire. Elle a été recommandée pour le traitement du rhume. Cependant, la plante est utilisée à des fins ornementales. Elle fleurit de Juillet à Août.
Echinacea angustifolia croît de 40 à 70 cm de haut.
Elle préfère les sols bien drainés. PH adapté: les sols acides, neutres et basiques (alcalins). Ne peut pas grandir à l'ombre.
Echinacea angustifolia est tolérant à la sécheresse, la chaleur, l'humidité et les sols pauvres.
