The rustic cactus (Cylindropuntia imbricata) is a plant from Mexico and the southwestern United States. It is a fast-growing and very cold plant and heat. Its bloom in June allows it to form a small cluster of thorny bushes with purple flowers with a yellow center. Requires sun exposure and watering approximately every 10 days.
A typical height is about 1 m, but exceptionally it can grow to 4.6 m (15 ft) with a "trunk" diameter of 25 cm (9.8 in).
