Quick description:

Cactus endemic to North-East Brazil.

Pilosocereus pachycladus (sym pilosocereus azureus) is a cactus endemic to North-East Brazil. It is one of the most spectacular cactus of its kind. In tree form 1 to 10 (or more) m high, it branches off at the base or develops a distinct trunk with dozens of erect branches (bluish silver). Its elegant shape makes it look like a miniature blue Saguaro. It is one of the most blue cacti in columns.
