Turbinicarpus hoferi a small and globular species endemic to Mexico. Its natural habitat is the hot deserts. It reaches a height of 3 cm and 5 cm in diameter. Black and white, it turns gray. It is a very resistant plant that needs to be exposed to the sun. its growth is rather slow and starts in the spring to finish in autumn.
