The Carpinus turczaninowii, originally from Northern China, Japan and Korea is one of the most vigorous of the Charms. Because of this the tree with little loss of fruit and leaf drop. This small tree or shrub can reach a height of about 15m. A nice secondary element is the beautiful autumn color orange / reddish. The bark is dark gray and the leaf is ovate, The outline of the limb has a double cut. The kittens of this Charms are relatively small, 3 to 6cm. Carpinus turczaninowii is particularly suitable for small and medium sized gardens. This Charmes is often cut in the form of bonsai.
