Glaucous Tobacco or Nicotiana glauca is a plant of the family Solanaceae, native to Mexico and the southwestern United States.
It is often seen in the form of a sparse bush or a branchless tree. It contains anabasin, an alkaloid close to nicotine that is particularly effective against aphids. To do this, we make a decoction of leaves of glaucous tobacco, which is sprayed on the plant to be treated.
