Pandanus Furcatus is commonly known as Himalayan Screw Pine. The tree is native to the Himalayas of Northeast India, Bhutan and Nepal, Malaysia, Indonesia, Australia and West Africa.
Pandanus Furcatus can reach up to 10 m high.
It has long dark green leaves of 3-5 m long and 10 cm broad.
Fruit is a compound cone-like fruit made of several drupes, orange-red when ripe of 15-25 cm long
Pandanus Furcatus needs full sun, sun to partial shade, light shade. Tolerates occasional light frost.
